Review by Eric: This Nanogy 95, I usually string at 27lbs. The feeling is medium hard. The positive side is that the durability is good for me. Why? My reason is a simple one. I love to string for others but am too lazy to string for myself..ha ha

Normally for Yonex Nanogy 95 racket restring, we will suggest to our members to string tension according to their strength and playing level. For example, if they are beginner to high beginner level, we will suggest to string between 22 – 25lbs. Subsequently, we will monitor their feedbacks and do tension adjustments when they next do restring. This is if they are not used to the current tension.
Generally in Singapore, many players join badminton games in meetup groups. Thus many new members are from meetup. Subsequently, they feel that Yonex Nanogy 95 string is a little too thick for them to handle. It is a fact that thick string is difficult to handle. Furthermore, thick string should not have a tension lower than 26lbs. If it is lower than 26lbs, the repulsion will not be so great. In summary, this string will give great repulsion if the tension is at 26lbs or higher. Therefore, these meetup group players always request for tension at 26lbs. At this tension, they will have repulsion and at the same time able to handle the racket.
Lastly, the members agreed that the durability is good. They added that they are able to use the string for more than 6 months. Subsequently even though there is a loss of tension, the string is still good. Furthermore, the hitting sound is loud during smashing and also able to lob clear to baseline. Finally according to our stringing records, this string is the choice of training adult professional and working adults.
In summary, their feedback is that the string is more durable. Furthermore they added that repulsion is just nice for them during their games and training. As a result, it helps them to save on cost when choosing Nanogy 95 for racket restring.
In the meantime, control wise is still acceptable for netting and drop shots with medium feeling.
Finally, to maintain the tension’s accuracy, we insist that all badminton restring must use digital stringing machine. We always send our Yonex Protech 8 series stringing machine for calibration every 6- monthly. This is to ensure that our tension is accurate all the time. As a rule, our acceptable tolerance is +/- 0.05lbs.
Likewise, we will send our stringing clamp for calibration too. This is to test the clamp on its tightness. If the clamp is too loose, the string tension will not be accurate. If it is too tight, the string will be damaged. Therefore, during Yonex nanogy 95 badminton restring process, we have to make sure that the clamp is adjusted and accurate. This is because this string is thicker than others.
For this Yonex Nanogy 95 racket restring experience, we will check the racket grommets before stringing. This is because the key point for this string is durability. Besides all these, all the badminton restring will be according to International Approved Standard.
